Introducing the 1117 Studios Blog
It has arrived!
I am finally introducing our website blog. I am very excited to showcase this blog on our website and social media outlets to further educated our audience, clients, and friends about the importance of video production.
What you can expect from this blog is going to be up to date information all things regarding video production, including: tips and tricks for creating videos at home using smartphones and other devices, how to hire the right video production company for your specific job, how to enhance your zoom quality, different types of videos and their purposes, different trends in video marketing, creating video gameplans for your business, and much more.
In the meantime, let me introduce 1117 Studios,
1117 Studios, was founded by myself in 2018 with the sole purpose of creating content for businesses. I had previously come from multiple small businesses where I helped them grow their social media channels using clips shot on my iphone or gopro at the time. When I was working at a detail shop and started talking photos and videos of all the cars, it occured to me that I love videography and the process of creating videos, understanding a business and their story and reverse engineering trends into videos for that business with their specific message. I feel in love with it. After three rebrands and one chocolate lab named Remi later, we settled on 1117 Studios.
Why 1117? My dog was born on November 17th so its to honor my best friend in the whole world.
1117 Studios has grown in services over the past 5 years. In 2018, we focused on real estate photography and videography and got partnerships with local real estate offices, from that we moved into filming construction projects on homes, I really started to hone in my skills as an interviewer around late 2019 and started interviewing many businesses creating what we call Company Branding Videos, we created many CBV’s over the next year while expanding into other video ideas such as customer testimonials, owner and employee bio videos, educational content, reels and tiktoks, all the way client showcase videos for non-profits. in 2021, we were presented with the opportunity to do a live AV event for a non-profit and handle all the AV set up and stream to their YouTube, you can find that here. In 2021 we also release a video service/product, called Family Legacy Films, which is taking all the video production skills over the years and creating a short documentary about the most loved people in your life. The idea came when my cousin Chris passed away at the young age of 32 and all of his life lessons went with him, how I would tell stories about him to my kids one day but never be able to show them a video about his life. I immediately thought of my grandmother who is in her 80’s and how my kids would get the chance to ask her the important life lessons before it might be too late. What if there was a way to create a short documentary that talked about their life and what they went through so when they leave us, they can still inspire generations to come the same way they have done with us. The idea became even more close to home when my father passed away early 2023 and the same thing, so many life lessons and memories that are lost, having a short documentary about my father to show my kids when they are older would’ve meant the world to me.
So over the years after learning video production front to back on many fronts (not all of them), 1117 Studios is dedicated to creating amazing videos that share your business’s, nonprofit’s, or family’s most important stories.
